little baby lauterbach is on his way…

the older i get, the more i let my friends do the finding of new friends and then i just befriend their friends.  it seems to work out so simply. i mean, if they’re friends of my best friends how can i not love them, right?

tammy and eric are great friends of my best, makeup and hair artist, mariana and when she asked me to take their maternity pictures as a gift for them i was delighted.  at the time i didnt’ realize which tammy it was but when the lauterbach name hit my inbox to arrange dates/times, i got a little bit excited.. and by a little bit i mean i emailed her back in two hot seconds expressing my joy that the shoot was for her and eric!

we had such a fun time during this shoot. lots of laughter, permanent smiles and i feel like we all left with the little idea of a new friendship being birthed – i mean in addition to Jack of course. gosh, i hope i’m right other wise this post will be a little bit embarrassing  …

baby jack’s coming soon .. can’t wait to see his adorable little self!

ps. i’m still in puerto rico and didn’t really post this.. thanks cousin lauren (lo) you’re the best free assistant i could ask for..i pay her in food.

baby steele as a bun in the oven

anytime i am able to photograph sommer and jason is a great day in my books..

sommer has incredible beauty that radiates even strong when paired with her humility. she is the epitome of a loving and sincere wife and friend. so kind. jason is so fun. he’s easy to talk to, a successful business man who owns his own landscape company and they both are more than excited to welcome their precious baby boy, steele, into the world.

steele was born two days ago – i am eager to photograph him next friday.

little baby liam

and he is so perfectly little. i was able to meet him yesterday and what a little doll. while chatting with lisa and being refreshed on what a mature young woman she is, i was able to rock him back and forth and soak in his sweetness.  i love babies. i love lisa.. and i love tanner.. even though i don’t know tanner very well yet his presence exudes maturity, confidence and humility all the same. sometimes you meet people and things just click and while i’ve spent like this much time with him *_* i think lisa scored a great man.  i’m looking forward to see where the lord takes them and how else he blesses them.  lisa has such an excellent mom spirit about her. she finds delight in her son. i find delight in that.

liam is blessed.

and now i remember, this is not a newborn post, silly me.. but all the same since he’s already here, i talked about him.

baby bill the fifth on the way

these two hosted a breath taking wedding as bride and groom in gunnison, colorado that i was blessed to photograph this past fall.. after ten years together, they’re going welcome their sweet little bundle into the world in march…

bill grew up exploring downtown phoenix on bike with his friends, so it was only appropriate to have this shoot in the same fashion.  tava has such a tender, innocent spirit about her.. you can see her adoration for bill through and through. bill’s sense of humor makes her smile and delights her to her very core. she takes pleasure in his shenanigans like a high school girl to her first love – more than precious and so easy to capture in a photograph.  i’m thankful to be documenting all of these milestones in their lives.  I cannot wait to meet bill the fifth in march. praying for healthy baby and smooth delivery!
